- RevTeX
- REVTeX is a joint product of the American Physical
Society, the Optical Society of America, and the American
Institute of Physics. It includes macro files,
documentation, templates, and utilities for use in the LaTeX
typesetting environment. There are extra macros and
stylistic changes to facilitate typesetting of papers
destined for submission to the organization named above
- PassiveTeX
(Text Encoding Initiative TEI)
- PassiveTeX is a library of TeX macros which can be used to process an XML
document which results from an XSL transformation to formatting objects.
PassiveTeX provides a rapid development environment for experimenting with XSL
FO, using a reliable pre-existing formatter.

- ChemTeX

- Macros for typing chemical symbols by Mats Dahlgren. Provides some basic
support for typesetting chemical formulae, avoiding direct use of maths mode.
- bpchem
- Typeset chemical names, formulae, etc. The package by Bjørn Pedersen
provides support for typesetting simple chemical formulae, those long IUPAC
compound names, and some chemical idioms. It also supports the labelling of
compounds and reference to labelled compounds.

- TeX slide presentations
- "This webpage aims to explain briefly the use of TeX to prepare slide presentations." This method uses pdflatex (using the foils class) and ppower4 to create a PDF file for pojection.
- TeXdraw
- a macro package that allows the user to produce PostScript drawings from within TeX and LaTeX
- oz2tex.sty

- TeX4ht: TeX and LaTeX for the WWW
- A converter from TeX and LaTeX to SGML-based formats such as (X)HTML,
MathML, OpenDocument, and DocBook, providing a configurable (La)TeX-based
authoring system for hypertext. TeX4ht is released once a year; fixes for
problems (and new extensions) may be found on the package
bugfixes page.
- GeX
- Integrated Postscript Processor allowing one-pass handling of encapsulated
PostScript files. GeX replaces the lengthy and bug-prone three-pass model of
.tex => .dvi .ps => .pdf with a straightforward one-pass .tex => .pdf
conversion.
